What is the best way of promote your etsy store

Hey all
I have a handmade items on my etsy store, such scarves, etc. But I wonder what do you think about most efficient way of promoting your shop?
Based on my experiences so far showcase adds are not really useful. What about pictures? How we can catch more professional shots? What do you think?:

Its not an easy question to answer. I have a blog that I put my etsy stuff all over, I network in the different forums, I have a signature at the end of my personal emails that list my shop links, and I talk to people about etsy all the time. Just by being here and having pics up can help draw traffic. I recently did a show case as well and didn't have hardly any traffic. Pounce is one way that traffic has come through my store recently, someone convoed me a couple times and stated that I was in a treasury. I have 1 sale from my shop I opened last december. And none in my new shop. I just hope the right buyers come along. I was also told to use all 14 tags with every thing you think describes your item and will draw people through searches. I hope this helps.
