Dear Members of the We Love Etsy Community,

Have some spare time? Want to help out with We Love Etsy? We’re looking for volunteers!

Over the past month we’ve had a bit of a problem with nefarious characters joining the community to send out spam about ringtones (and worse – yikes!). In order to put an end to this, we have changed the signup process to require admin approval before becoming a member. We’re looking for membership moderators to help us with this.

We are also looking for category editors to help us keep the Shops Directory up to date by evaluating and approving new Etsy shop submissions.

We are looking for people who can commit to checking daily or every other day to approve new members/link submissions, so if you are super busy this probably isn't right for you. :)

We plan to offer a complementary featured shop upgraded listing in the Shops Directory to both our category editors and membership moderators.

If you are interested, please send me a message with your We Love Etsy member name and your Etsy shop address (if you have one), and let me know which position you are interested in.

I'm available to moderate any forum or group, or organize any category within We Love Etsy. I'm usually on the internet several hours p/ day, due to the fact I twitter, plurk, blog and maintain plugboards & a top100 directory. So I do understand how important it is to keep out the "unwanted" stuff!!!

I have HTML knowledge and can help new folks with general questions about setting up their We Love Etsy page. Unfortunately, I am not wizard (yet!) when it comes to Ning but I do have other "ning" memberships so I'm pretty sure I'll be all right! LOL
