Dear Members of the We Love Etsy Community,

Have some spare time? Want to help out with We Love Etsy? We’re looking for volunteers!

Over the past month we’ve had a bit of a problem with nefarious characters joining the community to send out spam about ringtones (and worse – yikes!). In order to put an end to this, we have changed the signup process to require admin approval before becoming a member. We’re looking for membership moderators to help us with this.

We are also looking for category editors to help us keep the Shops Directory up to date by evaluating and approving new Etsy shop submissions.

We are looking for people who can commit to checking daily or every other day to approve new members/link submissions, so if you are super busy this probably isn't right for you. :)

We plan to offer a complementary featured shop upgraded listing in the Shops Directory to both our category editors and membership moderators.

If you are interested, please send me a message with your We Love Etsy member name and your Etsy shop address (if you have one), and let me know which position you are interested in.

Hi! I have been unemployed for 15 months, and would love an opportunity to hear more about how I can help as a volunteer for Etsy. The prospect of having a feature on my product is also very exciting to me. I am an Etsy member under Framed Reflections. I create kaleidoscope effects with photo's, layer them through cutting and frame them(I hand paint most of the frames myself as well.) I hate to admit, that I did get one order the week after I joined, but have not been found since, which I'm sure is my fault as I have been so into job hunting, temping and making my frames, that I have not kept up with my business on your site.
