I can go everywhere else on the web but anything that has to di with etsy is not coming up even the mini s....I live in eastern washington state and I know I am not the only one in this area....I sold two items though yesterday so I knew the site was working other places....I have not been able to pull up the site in the last 24 hours!
Does anyone know if etsy knows, or are working on the problem?
I live in Northern Maine and have been having the same problem....I can connect to any other website....my husband went onto the diyscene website and 2 different people said they weren't having any problems
Same problem in Georgia. Making sales according to Paypal, but can't get to the site. It's driving me crazy! It must be working somewhere. Can't wait to see the forum buzz when I get back on! Haven't been able to get in since Friday. I actually joined this group to find help, but I am so glad I am here!
Same here I can't get in day 3 for me. I have just read from another site that someone emailed them and this is what they got from Etsy person. We've gotten some scattered reports of users being unable
to access Etsy, generally receiving "cannot connect" errors
from their browsers.
We've run all of our diagnostic tools, and everything
appears to be running properly within our network. Our
global monitoring tools also have not shown any activity
out of the ordinary.
The evidence we have so far is pointing towards a failure
in one or more ISPs ( internet service providers ) around
the world, causing routing problems and cutting some users
off from Etsy’s servers. This issue is unfortunately out
of our hands, as we only have control over our internal
network.
We are in contact with our ISP to see if they have any more
information about potential issues. They are also reporting
no problems currently, but we’re working with them to
figure out the root cause of the issue.
We’ll share more information with you as we receive it.
In the meantime, if you or anyone you’re in contact with
is having Etsy connectivity problems, please post their
location here and the nature of their problems.

Also someone else said that you can change your DNS server. I am a fraid to do this not sure if it will mess things up or not but here is the information on that and it worked for them.
OK, I was going on 3 days without Etsy & I can't handle it.
I followed some simple instructions that "Shunklies" from Etsy in the
Flickr forum "Etsy.com love" shared & it worked!!

Click:
Start > Control Panel > Network & Internet Connections > Network
COnnections > Right click your Connection and choose Properties.
Highlight the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click on Properties
tried again to get connected and finaaly it worked this time...
I had to use preferred DNS server 208.067.222.222 and alternate server 208.067.220.220
referring to the reply from gecko above about 1 hour ago...thanks for all the help
