hamptons is creating a cookbook full of recipes from Etsy sellers. Send her a convo with an original recipe and it'll be included in the recipe book along with link to your Etsy store.

It doesn't get much easier than that!

Have you seen the Etsy MiniBlog? Have you joined?

http://etsymini.blogspot.com/

Everyone is welcome. It's free, beautiful, a great way to promote and to shop!

Here's what you need to do to get your mini posted....

Just choose the category that is right for you. At least 50% of your etsy shop has to be from that category and they ask that at least three of your items from that category are featured at all times. If you sell a variety of items, check out the "misc and eclectic" category. Each seller on etsy is allowed to post in only one category.

Read the FAQs and TOS, then find your category and leave a comment there with your etsy username and shop number. One of their etsy volunteers will take care of the code and add your mini.

Under the ONE appropriate category for your shop, comment with your shop number (last series of numbers in the url of your public shop) and your shop name.

Simple as that!

I usually come up with the best recipes when I'm out of almost everything and i have to make due with what I have. One of my favorites is the following:

Potato Sausage casserole

Ingredients:5-6 med.potatoes, 1 large onion,1package(1lb)patty breakfast sausage (raw),1 can green beans,1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Preparation:
Wash and peel potatoes, cut into 4 wedges and slice wedges thinly, chop onion.Unwrap sausage, devide into cherry-sized clumps, drain green beans.Dump contents of cream of mushroom soup into small container and add 1/2 can of water, mix thoroughly

cooking:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
In medium size baking dish or small roaster, layer 1/3 of poatoes,1/3 of chopped onions, etc.,continue until all have been used.Pour soup/water mixture over the layers, cover and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

Note:no additional salt is needed,as soup, beans and sausage provide this.Black pepper and garlic powder may be added for those who like a little more spicey flavor.

Yield:4 generous helpings

Thanks, Erin!
I wrote a blog post about making bread in a bread cloche with a recipe for a really, really delicious and extremely easy bread. I sent it along to hamptons to see if they could use it.
It's not 100% original, it's a variation, but what bread recipe is original at this point in time? We'll see...
Here it is if anyone is interested:
